Buenos Aires

After a 14-hour overnight bus ride, we arrived at the Retiro bus terminal in downtown Buenos Aires. Our new host, Pablo, graciously picked us up from the terminal and brought us to our home for the next month, the Casa Natal de Troilo, located in the neighborhood of Palermo. Some photos of the house are here. The house is a historic landmark and was the childhood home of well-known bandoneon player, Aníbal Troilo.

We are looking forward to finding some part-time jobs, meeting people, working on our spanish, and getting to know the city!

On our first evening in Buenos Aires, we enjoyed sitting down to an asado (bbq) with our new hosts Pablo and Rocío.
